Slama Carol is a different art form which derived from the ancient folk musics snd tunes of the coastal area of Alappuzha and Cochin. Slama means shalom, which is peace. The main theme of Slama Carol is the message given by Jesus risen from the dead. The Peculiar and special message given by Jesus is Peace. He always wishes peace to the man. It is because his name is Lord of peace and he is the Symbol of Peace. Jesus can only give Peace to the world.it is a musical dance designed by National Heritage Study centre and Pauranika Ranga Kalapeedom Kalavoor, Alappuzha,Kerala.
